I have laid before the Court of Directors of
the East India Company, your Letter, addressed to Dr Wilkins, presenting to them a Copy of Your Edition and Translation into Latin, of the Sanscrit Poem, called Bhagavad-Gitâ; and I am instructed to express the Court’s Thanks for this mark of your attention, and to assure you that they have pleasure in assigning to the Book a place in the Company’s Library
I am likewise directed to add that the Court have subscribed for 40 Copies of your Work. –
